Do I need a visa to transit through Taipei and Bangkok traveling back and forth from Honolulu to India?
We are a family of 4 people wanting to travel from Honolulu to India transiting through Taipei and Bangkok on 2nd June 2008 and return from India to Honolulu transiting through Bangkok and Taipei on 26th August.

Assuming Youre an Indian National For Thailand Visa not required if: - continuing within 12 hours to a third country; and - holding confirmed onward ticket and documents for next destination; and - not leaving the transit lounge For Tapei Visa not required if: -continuing to a third country by same/connecting aircraft on the same day; and -holding confirmed onward ticket and all documents for next destination; and -not leaving the transit lounge (if arriving after midnight carrier must escort passenger to transit hotel. Transit hotel is only available for Eva Airways (BR) and China Airlines (CI) passengers. If passenger wants to stay in transit lounge permission from police bureau must be obtained, which must be arranged by carrier); and If Youre a US Passport Holder You wont need Visas to Transit or Visit Thailand or Tapei Happy Travels
